For Christmas I got 3 skeins of Cascade 220 Superwash in color 848 (blue). I'm going to make the Quinn bag with it once I get some needles for it. I also got the Simpsons soundtrack and a pair of jeans from Old Navy.

Socks and stuff

Here's a pic of the baby socks. I've been busy with school and Christmas stuff so I haven't had time to post pics. The pattern is the Ruffle Rib socks from Better Than Booties baby socks from Interweave Knits. The yarn is Dale of Norway Baby Ull. The socks are for my mom's cousin's baby who was born on October 21.
This is my progress on my Wicked sweater. It is kind of halted right now because my Options cable broke. The little metal part that connects to the cable and then you screw the needle tip into, came off. I haven't had time to switch it to the other cable that I have.
This is Molly's Blankie of Many Colors from Mason Dixon Knitting except the pattern is called Joseph's blankie but it is for my doll. Since this picture I've gotten a few more colors on it.
This is my Nine Patch Dishcloth from Mason Dixon knitting. It was very easy. I like the mitered squares.
This is my dog Jasmine. She is very cute although sometimes she barks too much.
I won sock yarn from the contest that I posted about in my last post! I won pink/green All Things Heather sock yarn. It is so pretty!

Tomorrow is the Christmas party at my LYS! I just made Nestle tollhouse chocolate chip cookie dough. I'm going to make the cookies tomorrow because I didn't have time tonight. I can't believe Christmas is in 6 days! Actually less since it's almost Thursday.

Almost done w/ the baby sock

I just finished the gusset decreases on baby sock #2. Hopefully I will finish it tonight but that probably won't happen. I will for sure finish it tomorrow. This sock went much faster than the first one. I only had to frog this one once, after the first row because I cast on 90 stitches instead of 88. The first sock I had to frog at least three times because I messed up. Actually I had to frog the heel flap numerous times because the heel wasn't turning out right. Turns out, for some reason I had one less stitch on the heel flap than I needed. So I just did a M1 and it solved all my problems. I even did the toe and kitchenered it at the lys knit night the other week! pretty neat! I'll have pics tonight or tomorrow I promise.
