ipod sock!

Today I finished the ipod sock for my sister's ipod. It fits the ipod really snugly, like it doesn't just slip in and out. I might make another one but make it a little bit bigger because I think it should be easier to get it than that. oh well. The pattern is at http://www.ipodsocks.biz.



I got a $20 Michaels gift card for Christmas and I finally decided what to spend it on. I got 4 skeins of Lion Brand Cotton-Ease yarn in Berry, Lime, Lake, and Violet.

I also started the Simple Bow Hat (pattern from http://members.cox.net/janlewis1/SimpleBowHat.pdf). I'm making it using the berry yarn I got from Michaels. We had to go to Hobby Lobby to get needles because Michaels didn't have the right size needles.

Coin Purse

I thought I'd post a picture of the coin purse I made. I got the pattern from the Klutz knitting book.



The tube I was making on the DPNs was turned into a little hat for a Teenie Beanie (the small ones from the happy meals).

Today I learned how to knit with double pointed needles! It's just a tube but I think I will try some interesting patterns. :)

This morning I finished my KAL for the Monthly Dishcloths group. It looks nothing like the other peoples' kals, but oh well. I can't take a picture of it yet because my camera's batteries died. x.x

Knitting

So I just started knitting last month. So far I've just made a Wisconsin dishcloth which turned out oddly because I screwed up the knits and purls. It's flipped. Now I'm making an iPod sock for my sister's iPod. I wish I had one. I would get a 4G green ipod nano. Then I would make a sock for it. :)
