More FOs

I finally finished the Log Cabin blanket for my doll but I haven't gotten around to taking a picture of it yet. It is 13" square and I crocheted a little scallop border around it. I wove in all the ends on the back.

I also finished my second mitten last week.

My mentor from church and I are going to knit prayer shawls for some people at our church. Today I went to Hobby Lobby (with my parents) and bought 3 skeins of Lion brand Jiffy in a purplish color. We're going to start them on Wednesday after the lenten church.

I finished the top band of my Quinn bag and I'm currently on row 7 of the first repeat of the body of the bag. I was on the last repeat of the top band when I realized I had crossed a cable the wrong way on the first row of the 12 row repeat! So I had to frog the 12 rows of that and redo it! That was annoying but I'm glad I caught it before it was too late.

My Wicked sweater is about 10 1/4 inches long from the underarms. I'm going to make it about 11 1/2 to 12 inches long because I like longish sweaters and the border at the end is about 1.25" so then the end length would be 12-13 inches long which would be pretty good, I think.

I only had 3 days of school this week and four last week!! Last week we had extremely cold wind chills (30 below zero) so we got a "cold day". It was really really boring because I had no one to do anything with and I didn't feel like knitting. This week it snowed 16 inches in 24 hours so we had a snow day. I stayed in my pj's all day! It was awesome! Then I didn't have school on Friday because they had some reading convention thing. I slept from 12:30 am on Friday to 11:15 am on Friday. Then I made myself real oatmeal on the stovetop. (real meaning oatmeal from the cylinder box and not the little packets). Then I added dried fruit (craisins, cherries, blueberries, strawberries), cinnamon, brown sugar, and a little bit of syrup. It was delicious and it kept me full the whole afternoon!

We stayed in our pj's too, lots of fun(kid crafting, coloring, necklace making), movies and knitting!
